Rumor has it that book sucks (HAHAHAHAHAHA... Get it? Sucks.... HAH! I kill me) *groan* Use a pun, go to prison! So, since I'm a speed reader, I've finished the book already. (No, really, I am -- overnight, done. Srsly.) And it's FABULOUS!! Definitely my favorite so far: returning characters I enjoy, fascinating storyline, continuing situations proving all things not being settled yet, and enough quirk to remind me that a truly compelling story is never black and white. Also as far as the writing goes, in my untrained opinion, this is the strongest book of the series. Really wonderful word-weaving! |

(Blush) Thanks folks... Morrison and I are in North Carolina... Have a gig in a couple of hours. The official book release party at 13 Moons in Occoquan VA was a blast. Had three (count em, 3) "Mirandas" show up. Plenty of photo ops with me as their doormat and whipping boy ... I'm supposed to get pictures at some point and will put them up on the site. Last night was Mystic Moon in Norfolk VA... Huge crowd, many books out the door... Still a long road ahead of us... I'll try to keep everyone updated and trust me, I'll be blogging about the tour!  |

How's the pork butt? Gone yet? heheheheheh
THe 13 Magickal Moons release party ROCKED! Murv did not tell ya that Sam had TWO fabulous chocolate cakes made. One that had the Blood Moon cover on the front and some Congrats in blood red Icing in Miranda writing I believe...andthe 2nd Cake had the cover of Dorothy Morrison's Lucinda's Web on it. Murv also teaches one helluva workshop. we love the MURV! BUt the party was awesome...watching Murv get it from HP Sam and Regina was awesome. darlin ya took it like the upstanding..or lying down man that ya are! You still give good hugs Boss. So far the book is awesome. Could not read as much as I wanted as my lil sprout ended up racing TWICE on sunday...and put in a total of like 7-8 miles on the water that day. So I was a bit pre-occupied cheering her on.
I'll give a good report on the book once I have it finished. Good to see you again...and sit and talk.

I'm finally reading it now. I've had it awhile, but another board I hang out on decided to do a book club thread on "The Time Traveler's Wife." Not bad, but not as good as "Blood Moon" so far. Beefy the Vampire Snack!  |
