I actually only had about 30 or so pages to go ... I thought I had more because I didn't pay attention to the fact that there was an excerpt from Harm None in the back ... so I did finish it and have been paying for it sleep wise ever since ... I need to get back on the earlier sleep schedule ... I tend to have more energy if I wake up while it's still light outside.

I thought that answer was obvious by the "... but I'll deal.  I wanna see what happens .. " comment at the very top there.   

But, yes I did ... and at this rate, I'll be waiting on that last Miranda book to be out 'cause I'll have read everything else you've written within the next few months.  I'm already a third of the way through the next book.  I made the boyfriend drive to Walmart yesterday morning so that I could read in the car.  He's about half way through Harm None, but he's a slow reader.  I'll probably be done with Law of Three before he's done with the first one.

When I'm done with Perfect Trust, I'll have to order the next few so that they have time to arrive while I read Law of Three.  And, since Harm None, Perfect Trust and Law of three all came with your name scribbled in them, I'll have to bring Never Burn a Witch for you to sign when we track you down in May (I think I mentioned elsewhere that my time off request was approved for that little trip into VA) ...

The other thing I was going to mention was that when I was reading the last part, it was odd.  The song that was mentioned as being on the truck's radio ... "the highwayman and his one true love" ... was actually what I was listening to while I was reading.

Funny story behind that... In the original draft of the manuscript, Loreena McKennitt was mentioned as the artist performing the song on the radio...However, at the 11th hour I received a fax from her management company in the UK requesting that she not be mentioned as they did not want her connected with the book. (which didn't make sense to me)

I could have gone forth anyway, as the mention would have fallen under the fair use doctrine, but rather than raise a stink I agreed to rewrite the ending in such a way as to not name names...

Pretty cool  that you were listening to it while reading that section though!

I was wondering why you didn't just name the song/artist since (to me anyway) it was obvious what it was.
