Alright, i'm rather supprised you cats have yet to start in about this book. i know my mouth is wattering with anticipation.

I'm a bit curious as to how Murv's gonna end this, as i'm sure many of you probably are. I've got my theories, thought i have a feeling he's gonna throw me for a loop and do something completely different than what i'm figuring on.

Anybody got any theories?

You know, I honestly don't have a theory.  I'm atwitter with anticipation, but I've not really figured out what may or may not happen.  And I think that's because the "OMG!" moments in the first two hit me from so far away that any theories I had been mulling over were blasted out of my pea brain with extreme prejudice.  So here I sit, excited and completely open to whatever gets thrown at me in the book #3.  And I'm hoping that's soon. (subtle hint smiley)

I've been thinking about this, and all I have are general speculations.

I think we're going to learn more about Voodoo than we ever thought we'd want to know.  The way I see it, Felicity's "twin" sister (can't think of her name right now) has either accidentally or intentionally raised Miranda to the status of at least a minor goddess.  It seems to me that the only way to stop Miranda is to take away her goddess status.

I have no idea how this is going to be done, but I expect some great reading along the way!

Well, I'll say this much-- Yes, Annalise is a bitch (Felicity's half-sister-cousin person)

There are a couple of twists in this one...And, Miranda/Annalise have both been babbling in the back of my head. They seem to think I need to give them "equal time" to tell "their side" of the story...Which means a proposal has been written for another RGI novel centering on Miranda.

Now, to quell any fears, I am NOT pulling a Douglas Adams and turning a trilogy into 5 books or anything like that. It was already a foregone conclusion (for me anyway) in the story arc that Miranda will play a small role in future RGI's, and I promise there will be "some" satisfactory conclusions in The End of Desire...But, you have to admit, Miranda is way too evil to just "go away"  I'm thinking "their" side of the story could be fun...sick, twisted, and definitely R rated, but fun nonetheless...

I can not wait til the release of this book. I have enjoyed the entire rowan gant series. Do you have a set # of how many books will be in the rgi?  Keep up the great work

As to a set number of books, not really. I've knocked a number around inside my head for a while now, but never really settled on one...So, at this stage of the game I will keep writing books in the RGI series until I either run out of fresh ideas, or fans stop buying them. 

Now... This is NOT to say that I might not take a break from Rowan and the gang for a year (at some point in the future) and launch a different series, or even standalone book. I have a ton of nastiness running around in my brainpan so I need to vent it somewhere

I'm a little confused about why Annalise was so keen on getting Felicity's necklace.  I thought they were different necklaces, each having one half of a coin.  Felicity did not have Annalise's necklace at any time, unless I missed something.

It's starting to look like Rowan will never be rid of Miranda.  After all, no  matter what he does, she's still going to be dead.  I was hoping that there would be a way to strip Miranda of her Lwa status and make her go away, or at least take away some of her strength.

I did get a giggle, Murv, from Ben's line's about Felicity and shaving her head.  Did you write that before or after "Twitney" Spears did that very thing?

Now THERE'S a scary thought--Miranda running loose in a prison.  She'd have a literally captive pool of victims.

Is that October 2008 a publication date for the next book?  Hope so!  Woo hoo!  Less than a year to wait (again).
